Topicals, salves and patches are basically names describing different ways to administer cannabis to the human body. Topicals – more of an ‘umbrella’ term generally means anything applied to the skin or ‘outside’ the human body. Salves are ‘rubs’ – think icy hot but it is infused with cannabis.
Patches are pre-cut infused strips of material that are soaked and infused with cannabis. The patches are then applied to the trouble area (they’re sticky but leave no residue when removed). Patches are excellent for targeted application and focusing in on the area to be medicated, with patients being able to place the patch right on top of sore muscles.
– Not to mention, they’re ALL discreet!
