A General Guide for Communication System Engineers to Improve QoS

Abstract: The Quality of Service (QoS) is one of most important issues in providing an acceptable level of service. Communication engineers need a guide for action to improve QoS parameters such as data rate, bit error rate, latency, and jitter. Improving QoS includes a set of steps that should be performed by an engineer; these steps are belonging to two categories, system and network steps. In this paper we developed a flow chart of a general guide to improve QoS in a digital communication system, based on our knowledge of the modern communication system and impairments that lead to system degradation. We outline the options and advices to approach the subject of QoS in digital transmission.

Abstract: There are two main approaches to implementation of the software of hardware of technological thinking of cognitive robots. The first approach - machine learning. Such cognitive robots are used in services industry for commercial purposes. Cognitive robots on the basis of modeling of communicative and associative logic of imitative reflection of the person are used as lecturers and consultants when concepts and knowledge are strictly defined. The communicative and associative logic allows creating the robot capable to communicate with the help of the speech in various languages. Now in the world in many spheres of activity Russian, European, Japanese, Chinese, American smart robots are used. Development of technologies conducts to the fact that new robots appear. Create robots and train them for work in the social sphere. Robots can find environmental pollution, fire-dangerous situations and successfully prevent them. A few years ago there were also mobile robots able to be guided in space.

Abstract: The article deals with tasks related to monitoring and diagnostics of microprocessor devices of data transmission systems. We have completed the life cycle of the technical means of data transmission systems and the ways of their enhanced reliability. The analysis of tasks and classification of systems of technical diagnostics of microprocessor devices of data transmission systems is carried out. The analysis of modern microprocessor devices of data transmission systems as an object of control and diagnostics necessary for the choice of characteristics of signature analysis methods is made, that the main documents of signature analysis are dictionaries of the reference signatures. Methods of calculation and determination of signatures for signature analysis in the diagnosis of microprocessor devices are considered. It is shown that the main document of signature analysis is the dictionary of reference signatures. A comparative analysis of the methods of calculation and determination of reference signatures used in the diagnosis of microprocessor devices has been performed. Algarymms and simulation programs for one and multi-channel signature methods for automating the determination of reference signatures for multi-output microprocessor devices have been developed.

Abstract: This paper deals with calculating, assessing and comparisons the M/M/2/1 system model as an intermediate node of telecommunication network. Furthermore, the imitation model modeled using AnyLogic program is also given and compared with mathematical results of the M/M/2/1 system. As well as, lots of node characteristics of the M/M/2/1 system are calculated and considered. Moreover, the options of AnyLogic program is shown clearly and also is given how to use the imitation method and programs efficiently in order to get the results more quickly and accurately.
